Welcome Niklas & Zacharias

Looking back at 2020, it has been one of the most intense years for us at Altor. A lot of transformative work together with the partners and management in our portfolio companies but we have also made a number of exciting acquisitions. The quality of our work is dependent on our ability to attract and retain exceptional talent in our firm. Most recently, we have been able to attract two new hires as Associates in Niklas Mattsson and Zacharias Wulff.

Niklas has a Bachelor in Business & Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics but he started his academic journey at Dartmouth College in the US. We had the pleasure of having Niklas as an intern already in the fall of 2016, he then graduated and started working for McKinsey where he spent 3 years before coming back to Altor. We will continue investing in Niklas’ development: in January he will be off for an MBA at INSEAD. Outside work he is quite a sports guy – a background as an elite golfer he also enjoys skiing, sailing and has recently joined the frenzy around padel tennis.

Zacharias has a Master in Finance from Hanken Swedish School of Economics and a Master of Law from the University of Helsinki. He joins us from NREP with previous experience from McKinsey, at NREP Zacharias spent 3 years in the transactions team focusing on commercial real estate. Zacharias is to work at our Helsinki office but will spend the first two years working from the Stockholm office. During this period, he is excited to explore Stockholm and everything it has to offer, both regarding arts, museums, restaurants and culture, as well as finding the best running paths in the city.
