Altor Fund IV (“Altor”) has divested Flex IT, a pioneering European circular IT specialist, to the investment group Eurazeo, where it will be combined with Eurazeo-owned T1A Group.
As a European leader in circular IT, FlexIT delivers a wide range of IT solutions built around circular economy principles; from distribution, rent and demo services, to buy back, refurbishment and IT asset disposition (ITAD). The company supports approximately 13,000 customers, with a strong value proposition for retailers, SME resellers, value-added resellers, corporates and public organizations.
From its offices in eight European countries, Flex IT serves over 35 different countries worldwide, supported by operational ITAD and refurbishment capacity in Leiden, the Netherlands and Toruń, Poland. Flex IT had revenues of about €120 million in 2025.
“We are very impressed with what the management team has achieved in recent years. Flex IT has successfully developed into one of the leading circular IT specialists in Europe with a unique approach that combines scale, expertise and flexibility across the IT lifecycle”, says Jens Browaldh, Partner at Altor.
Flex IT and T1A Group today announced the completion of their combination, forming a European platform in circular IT with revenues of approximately €150 million. Angelo Bul, CEO of Flex IT, becomes CEO of the combined group.
“In Altor we have had a strong owner and sparring partner, both helping and pushing us to become a European leader in circular IT. Together with T1A we can take responsibility for the whole life cycle of a client's equipment, from the day it arrives to the day it leaves and beyond. We look forward to our next growth phase together with T1A Group” says Angelo Bul.
“This transaction marks an important milestone as it concludes Altor’s successful original investment in Infotheek. The divestments of Centralpoint in 2021 and now Flex IT in 2026 to strong strategic buyers have unlocked substantial strategic value. We are glad to have found an excellent new home for Flex IT in combining forces with T1A Group, enabling the company to continue its successful journey”, concludes Jens Browaldh.
