Today, we take a moment to pause and celebrate the milestones of our colleagues in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo. Looking at the names we are celebrating today, it’s remarkable how they all represent the curiosity and compassion that lies at the heart of our firm. These values are key drivers in our ability to achieve outstanding results. Their achievements are a true testament to this.

 

Cornelia Jebsen Anker, Director

Since joining Altor back in 2020, Cornelia has been on a steady and strong journey at Altor. She joined Altor with experience from her years at Orkla and Arkwright Consulting. In the past years her contributions have ensured excellence in our exit from Sbanken and our recent exit and journey with Nordic Tyre Group. She is a true role model for the firm and the team in Oslo, consistently representing and living the values. Together with the team, she drives the continued success of our Finnish financial service provider Mandatum and the Swedish style universe, Toteme. Her commitment and energy help us push the extra mile and take on new challenges.

 

Gyte Balciunaite, Senior Associate

After a few years with Goldman Sachs, Gyte joined our office in Copenhagen in 2022. During her time with Altor she has shown an incredible eye for detail and a nothing is impossible attitude, highly appreciated by her colleagues. In addition to supporting last year’s exit from the company making us all healthier – SATS, she is an important member on the team for our leading industrial technology provider Norican.

 

Didrik H. Berge, Senior Associate

Didrik started his journey with Altor as an intern in 2019, after two years with ABG Sundal Collier, he returned to Altor in 2022. Didrik is based in our Oslo office. In his everyday work he is a true example of a team player with high ambitions, a dedication that shows in his brilliant results. Together with Cornelia he is part of the Mandatum team, driving our excellence in the Financial Services sector. Among his many achievements from 2024, Didrik played an important role in supporting our recent exit from Nordic Tyre Group.

 

Marit Annink, Senior Associate

We first had the joy of welcoming Marit to our Stockholm office in 2020 as an intern. She went on to join Morgan Stanley and later returned to Altor in 2022. Throughout her journey at Altor, she has consistently impressed us with her strong integrity, curiosity and strive to build Altor into an even better firm.  In addition to her contributions to the teams driving Flex IT and Gunnebo, she played a key role in the acquisition of Permascand in 2024.

 

Jawad Shafique, Senior Associate

Jawad first stepped foot into the Copenhagen office as an intern 2019. With experience from Boston Consulting Group, he rejoined Altor in 2023. Jawad brings commitment and curiosity to our green transition companies across sectors by being an integral member of the team for the green steel producer Stegra and the green transition bank KommunalKredit. He is also an important member of the team for Hamlet Protein.
