Altor continues to grow and with that we have the chance to celebrate a few promotions.
Each year, we take a moment to celebrate the fantastic talent shaping our firm. Altor is full of ambitious individuals looking to learn and grow. Today we announce our latest promotions and highlight some of their many achievements in the past year. It is evident from the group below that being nice and building our culture together with generating fantastic returns is the recipe for success. Congratulations on your well-deserved promotions.
Mario Hagmann, Director
Mario joined Altor in 2019, since then he has been a valued colleague for the firm and our growing presence in DACH. He is a true team player and key member of the Business Services and Financial Services sectors. In addition to his contribution to new investments across geographies, he is supporting the development for the industrial services provider Kaefer and process engineering company VTU.
Andreas Kaldhussaeter, Director
Andreas joined Altor in 2021 and has since been an important member of the team for some of our more recent investments such as CCM Hockey and Permascand, including Permascand’s subsequent merger with Magneto Special Anodes. He has an eye for details and consistently contributes to the team by walking the extra mile. As a key member of the Business Services sector, Andreas is a dedicated team member of Ludvig & Co and Nordic Climate Group, where he was also part of the team that did the investment.
Kristian Sandaker, Director
We had the joy of welcoming Kristian to Altor in 2020. Kristian is a valued member of the Tech, Industrial and Financial Services Sectors. Among his many accomplishments, we want to highlight his excellent contributions to Silo AI and the exit to AMD in 2024, Europe’s largest AI exit to date. Kristian is a fantastic example of a colleague who leads with Altor’s values and develops new initiatives to strengthen the firm. Recent achievements include developing the newly announced partnership with WovenLight to drive value creation through AI.
Olli-Markus Savolainen, Senior Associate
Since joining Altor in 2023, Olli-Markus has been a hardworking and cherished colleague. His energy and dedication stand out as he takes on each task with great responsibility. Since joining, he has supported both the Business Services and Consumer Sector. Today he works actively with Retta and Aarke. Some of his recent achievements include the partial exit of Retta last year.
