Altor acquired Swedish based BTI Studios in August 2017. In 2019 BTI Studios merged with the Asian leader Iyuno Media Group, which was followed by the acquisition of the US leader SDI Media in 2021, creating Iyuno-SDI, now renamed to Iyuno. Since 2017, revenue has more than tripled, and Iyuno is today the undisputed leader in media localization.
