Indie-developer Raw Fury partnered up with Altor for the next step of their journey. It may seem odd but it’s a perfect match.
Can what looks like a traditional PE-fund, be a partner for a young indie-publisher producing the most artistically inspired games out there? The owners of Raw Fury thought so and partnered up with Altor for the next step of their journey.
There were some raised eyebrows when Altor partnered up with Raw Fury, an indie-game publisher based in Stockholm, Sweden. Raw Fury was founded in 2015 by Jónas Antonsson, and is known for its’ artsy, story-rich PC & console games. But despite being a young company, Raw Fury with its +80 employees is seen as a top indie publisher globally.
“Altor is an amazing partner and usually you’d see a lot of bla bla bla here, but in true Fury fashion, I’ll let actions speak rather than words.” the Raw Fury CEO Jónas Antonsson says in his quite un-traditional manner and continues, “The future is exciting and I couldn’t be happier, finding an entity like Altor—and the amazing people working there—that believe in our vision, quirkiness and aim.”

The experience and monetary boost that Altor bring to the table will allow Raw Fury to increase their production capacity and add to the team, giving them the ability to publish larger projects while continuing to still fund smaller projects and experimental art.
